Paige (white and red), Koyuk (black and white) and Sedona (red puppy), getting comfy on the couch. Posted by Picasa

We worried the most about Paige getting along with the new puppy. Instead Paige decided to mother Sedona and Sedona can do no wrong in Paiges eyes.  Posted by Picasa

Koyuk and Sedona finally getting along :) Koyuk was not too sure about Sedona becoming a part of the family. But Sedona charmed her like she did everyone else. Posted by Picasa

Kazlos Sedona (previously named Rimfire) is settling into her new home with us. Paige has taken over mommy duties and has been very protective of the little one. We are thrilled with Sedona. She is extremely smart and very friendly. We can't wait till she's old enough to join the team. Posted by Picasa

We picked up our new sled at the Trade show. Johnn of Artic Star sleds did a beautiful job making it. It's almost too pretty to use :) Actually we can't wait until it snows to take it out for a spin. Posted by Picasa

Another new thing at our house is our wolf bench.  Posted by Picasa

This is North Wapiti's Flare. Karen Ramstead brought her from Canada to live with Tara Lamieux in Maine. Flare stayed at our house for about 24 hours before going to her new home. She has a very fiesty personality and we adored her. My 5 adult siberians did not feel the same way :) They were not use to something so little raising her lip at them.We can't wait to see her grow up and be a part of Tara's team.  Posted by Picasa

As usual, I've gotten things out of order. Here is a picture of Karen Ramstead giving her presentation Sat. Sept 30 at the sled dog trade show in Hopkinton New Hampshire. More information in the next few posts. Posted by Picasa

Iditarod musher Karen Ramstead visited us Sept. 28th-Oct 2nd. She did school presentations where I teach and was a presenter at the Sled dog trade show at the Hopkinton fairgrounds. She was really busy with the school presentations, a supporter get together at our house, meeting fans and dogs at the trade show, 2 days of presentations, another pot luck dinner Sat. night, playing with puppies on Monday and meeting with friends. We enjoyed her visit and hope she can come back another time.  Posted by Picasa
